Pure Bliss

Pure Bliss

A Mexican woman related her marvelous story:

Before getting married, I immersed in a kosher mikveh, as every Jewish kallah does. This was the first and last time I did so. For ten years, I did not visit the mikveh. I did not bear any children during these years, and was very saddened by this.

One day, my husband heard that the Rav was arriving in Mexico, and he asked for a blessing for children. After my husband described our suffering, the Rav asked if I keep the mitzvah of taharat hamishpachah. He explained that this mitzvah has the power to revoke all sorts of harsh decrees upon the home. Women must constantly be encouraged to observe this all-important mitzvah. The Rav encouraged my husband to instruct me to keep it.

It was very difficult for me, but after doing it, I was blessed with two sons and a daughter! I have come today to thank Hashem for this unique mitzvah, a simple solution to merit children and bring peace and harmony to the household.
