A Dream Come True

A Dream Come True

One year, in the month of Adar, I was invited to eat the evening meal with a family I know. At first, I thought it would be an ordinary supper, but when I got there, I found a minyan of men. Suddenly, I remembered that it was the 7th of Adar, the anniversary of Moshe Rabbeinu’s passing. I suggested we celebrate a hilula feast in his honor. All agreed happily.

Suddenly, we discovered a man weeping. After he calmed down, I asked for the cause of the tears. Emotionally, he related that just the previous night, he had dreamed that he was participating in the hilula of Moshe Rabbeinu. His dream was coming true before his eyes.

This man felt a strong sense of hashgachah pratit in this incident. There will be those who blind themselves to the Divine hand in their lives. They relate to such stories with mockery. But one who truly believes in Hashem without question sees Divine intervention in every area of his life.
