At the time, a war was raging in Eretz Yisrael. \u00a0A huge television screen demonstrated, in full color, exactly what was happening in the Holy Land. Needless to say, I did not lift my eyes toward the screen. But, to my chagrin, from the corner of my eye, I noticed the female news reporter. I immediately turned away so that I should not stumble in forbidden sights.<\/p>\n<p>A month passed. One day, in the midst of praying Shemoneh Esrei, the image of this woman popped into my mind. It disturbed my concentration.<\/p>\n<p><em>One must beware of forbidden sights. Even a casual or accidental sighting can have serious repercussions.
