{"id":99009,"date":"2022-11-20T05:06:59","date_gmt":"2022-11-20T03:06:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rdpinto.org\/?p=99009"},"modified":"2022-11-20T05:06:59","modified_gmt":"2022-11-20T03:06:59","slug":"delivering-the-goods","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rdpinto.org\/en\/delivering-the-goods\/","title":{"rendered":"Delivering the Goods"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Delivering the Goods<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When I ascended to pray at the gravesites of the tzaddikim in Marrakesh, Morocco, I prayed at the tomb of the tzaddik, Rabbi Shlomo Timsut, zy\u201da, as well.<\/p>\n<p>When I read the name of the tzaddik on the grave, I suddenly remembered my friend from Paris, who bears the same name. I decided to call him up and tell him that I would pray for him. If he had any type of problem, the <em>zechut<\/em> of the tzaddik would stand on his behalf and, <em>B\u2019ezrat Hashem<\/em>, his difficulties would be resolved. Unfortunately, my friend did not take the call. I left a message on his answering machine.<\/p>\n<p>The next day, I received a return call from him. With apparent excitement, he declared, \u201cHonored Rav, when you called me yesterday, I was in the midst of an important meeting with a distributor who was advised by his lawyer to cease sending me merchandise. A contract was even made up to this effect. Needless to say, I stood to lose a sizeable income. Suddenly, this distributor\u2019s manager walked in and ordered the man to halt anything regarding cancellation of our contract. Instead, the distributor was instructed to renew my contract and even double his previous orders. There was no logical reason for this.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cAfter I heard your message that you would pray for me, I had no doubt where my deliverance came from.
