This was the first and last time I did so. For ten years, I did not visit the <em>mikveh<\/em>. I did not bear any children during these years, and was very saddened by this.<\/p>\n<p>One day, my husband heard that the Rav was arriving in Mexico, and he asked for a blessing for children. After my husband described our suffering, the Rav asked if I keep the mitzvah of <em>taharat hamishpachah<\/em>. He explained that this mitzvah has the power to revoke all sorts of harsh decrees upon the home. Women must constantly be encouraged to observe this all-important mitzvah. The Rav encouraged my husband to instruct me to keep it.<\/p>\n<p><em>It was very difficult for me, but after doing it, I was blessed with two sons and a daughter!
