Such is the power of hearing.<\/p>\n<p>Words which are heard at a very young age, when the heart is yet malleable, are extremely powerful, remaining with a person throughout his life.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, I recall Father sighing at the world situation, saying, \u201cMen of faith are gone.\u201d But immediately, he would dismiss his previous words and replace them with, \u201cNo, it is not true. Men of faith continue to live by their faith.\u201d He would then rise up like a lion to do his task of serving Hashem.<\/p>\n<p><em>Father illustrated the saying regarding the virtuous: \u201cTzaddikim live by the power of their deeds.\u201d Their prayers and invocations of Hashem\u2019s Name rectify the ills of the generation that disregards His Presence. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Music to My Ears From when I was a young boy, I always remembered Father\u2019s constant refrain, \u201cB\u2019ezrat Hashem.\u201d These words, said in his pleasant tone of voice, in Arabic, continue to ring in my ears to this day.
