When I asked how long they had known each other, he replied six years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou have known each other for six years, and you have not gotten married yet?\u201d I was flabbergasted.<\/p>\n<p>Nonplussed, the man replied, \u201cYes. But we don\u2019t know each other well enough to get married.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy the time my wife and I were acquainted for six years,\u201d I told him, \u201cwe were already married and had four children. And you feel that you don\u2019t know this woman well enough to marry her by now?!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>How great is the value of time! One person can spend it profitably in setting the scene for his life\u2019s mission, while another wastes it in nothingness. We must etch into our hearts the message that time is precious.
