I asked him to stay a little and learn with me. But he was adamant in his refusal. \u201cThe honored Rav should forgive me, but I cannot tarry even one moment!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat can you accomplish in a single moment?\u201d I asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA single moment?\u201d he repeated, incredulous. \u201cA single moment is all it takes to place a call and close a deal with tremendous profits!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat is true,\u201d I admitted. \u201cBut a single moment is also all it takes to cause untold losses.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Noticing that I had a captive audience, I plowed on. I related a story which deeply touched him. He was drawn to the study bench.<\/p>\n<p>Today, this man sets fixed times for Torah study.
